Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

The purposes for which the Hotel processes personal data are the conclusion and performance of a contract for the provision of hotel services. In addition, the purposes of processing data by the Hotel are:

  • Pursuing potential claims by the Hotel in connection with damage caused by the guest to the hotel or defending against claims by the guest against the Hotel,
  • Documenting the performance of the service for tax purposes,
  • Ensuring the highest quality of services for hotel guests.

If the guest has given consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes, the Hotel processes personal data for that purpose, i.e. to send the guest marketing information and offers about its products and services.In addition, the Hotel processes guests' personal data collected by hotel monitoring in order to ensure the safety of hotel guests and other persons staying on the Hotel's premises.The legal basis for processing a guest's personal data obtained by the Hotel is the contract for the provision of hotel services, concluded at the time of the Guest's check-in at the hotel.The legal basis for processing a guest's personal data used for marketing purposes is the guest's consent. The Hotel informs that consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the validity of processing that took place before the withdrawal of consent.The legal basis for processing a guest's personal data by monitoring is the protection of his vital interests and the protection of the vital interests of other natural persons, as well as the legitimate interest of the controller.The legal basis for processing a guest's personal data to ensure the highest quality of services for hotel guests is the legitimate interest of the controller.

Period of Personal Data Processing

Personal data:

  • Obtained in connection with the concluded contract for the provision of hotel services will be processed for the period of limitation of tax claims or civil law claims of the Hotel or the guest, depending on which of these events occurs later,
  • Obtained on the basis of consent for marketing purposes will be processed for the duration of the validity of the marketing consent,
  • Obtained in connection with monitoring will be processed for 14 days from the date of recording, and will then be permanently deleted.

Additional Information

  • Providing personal data is a requirement for concluding a contract for hotel services. Failure to provide personal data will prevent the Hotel from concluding a contract for hotel services.
  • Every guest has the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which is the Generalny Inspektor Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
  • The Hotel does not intend to transfer personal data outside the EEA.
